This drink is very common and can be made with vodka or gin. Today, we will be using a top self vodka. Premium liquors are recommended for their smoothness and delicate distilling. In a martini glass put a dash of dry vermouth in the bottom and swirl it allowing it to coat the sides of the glass. Then toss the remaining vermouth into the sink. With the glass now on the bar, take the shaker fill half way with ice. Add three ounces of your premium vodka to the ice in the shaker. Cap the shaker and shake until the outside of the shaker is very cold. Pour the vodka into your martini glass and garnish with two or three olives.
