Default How to Keep your dog from barking for something it wants

TheDoggieDeeva teaches viewers how to keep their dog from barking for something it wants. Dogs usually barks because they are distracted or excited. If your dog starts barking, ask for a different behavior other than the barking then wait for a couple of minutes of silence and then reward the quiet behavior. Say 'good dog!' and reinforcement to the good silence. Make sure you give them a food reward or a toy. Engage them for something other than the barking such as 'Sit' or 'Roll over'. Make sure you wait for the silence so your dog understands that they are being rewarded for being silent!
